In January 2017 Mishigami Group did a field exercise to test the thermal imagery systems to help first responders in an ice rescue situation.
You can see how the FLIR technology can help find individuals who have fallen into rivers/ponds/lakes as well as how the technology can give a live stream to the EOC. Within a minute the technology can fly in search of an individual, stay on station over them, then live stream the video back to the EOC, allowing for quicker response and eyes on of all potential responders.
